Hello all!

My name's Deej and I've just found this wonderful group and have signed up to begin training as a cadet. I've been a huge Star Trek fan for years and I look forward to serving with you all and contributing back to the group.

I'm pretty green when it comes to RP, so I hope you'll be gentle!

If you haven't been there already, there's a ton of useful info at memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Main_Page .

Most positions in the RP are well documented, and make an excellent complement to the Roleplay infocards passed out by the senior staff.

I've found myself Alt-Tab'ing to a browser to do a quick lookup before switching back to SL to form a better dialog line. And don't forget to emote, but textually, not with gestures: Everything we type out is added to the ongoing narrative.
