Voice chat in Second Life There is a voice chat server to use while in Second Life. Please follow these directions to access it. 1. Go to www.ventrilo.com/download.php and download the correct client. 2. Install it and fill out your required information in the User field. To do that left click on the arrow to the right of the box called "User Name" All you should really have to do is fill in your name 3. Set up the server. Left click on the arrow and fill in the following information: qlet.dvrdns.org port: 3784 password: sfcslq 4. Click Connect. 5. Set up the key binds (button to push when you talk)select a key to use. 6. Click on the group you want to connect to Enjoy

I am unable to download this software. Is the information still current and usable following recent SL upgrades and blackouts?
Vulcans do NOT enable smilie emoticons.

Thare should be nothing wrong with geting the software as it is not a part of SL it self, and as for the server that you would connect to will and can be up and down as it is hosted by a member of SFC:SLQ.

Well, might just use the chance to actually use the topic since Second Life is down once again Not that I feel too much bored with other stuff. MSN's still workin', MP3's still on the harddisk, and satellite with more then 1200 channels is still working superbly And ofcourse being a bit lazy through the holiday doesn't hurt ;P
