The SFA Cadet Training Course will take place in the auditorium on the 1st flr of the HQ building. Only cadets that have been a member for at least 2 weeks prior to each course date are eligible to attend.
What to expect: Cadets will learn the rules of the sim and the group and will be more familiarized with the group's operation and procedures. Cadets will also know whats opportunities are available to them, how to participate in events, will learn about each division and subdivision and will all be registered to use the group forum by the end of class. Following the lecture will be a test of what was covered and will touch upon the important aspects of the lecture.
Upon passing this course, Cadets will be eligible to promote to Ensign rank.

Commandant, (and congratulations, ma'am, on your recent posting by the way - it should have carried a promotion in my humble opinion as the Academy is the second most importamt area in StarFleet after Building) as a new cadet with a billet in the UK, I respectfully request that consideration be given to scheduling some training sessions a little earlier than 18:30 SLT. Unfortunately that is 02:30 BST (British Summer Time = GMT +1) and is just a little early for me to attend!
I am looking forward to participating fully in all that SFC has to offer me as a new recruit to Logistics/Building sub-division.

I am well aware of members living outside of the U.S. and have scheduled the class for 4 different times on 4 different days one being the weekend as some have weekends off from school and work. I have announced the classes and hopefully you have been able to attend one of them so far. This is the schedule: Thursday, Aug 10th 6:30pm slt(was moved to 8:30pm due to technical difficulties) Friday, Aug 11th at 12 noon slt Saturday Aug 12th at 1pm slt Monday Aug 13th at 5pm slt I hope this will work out for our members overseas. Please let me know if you cannot make it to these times, if I have enough students living outside the US that we can make an extra day thats good for the students, I am willing to find a way to hold the class for you. Certainly we like our overseas members to feel that they have a fair chance at participation as much as those members that live domestically. Also thankyou Cadet Darling for your comment as well. And yes Fadm is correct I received a promotion to Lt Cmdr rank at the Bi- Annual Ball in June. I hope that these scheduled classes will work for you however. Lt Cmdr Vixen
