Up till now, we have not officially named the Station in the sky above Galaxy...well, its time we did, so this thread starts it off, please submit your suggestions on a name for the Station, and when we have a fair amount of names in the thread, we will post a poll.

Space Station Alpha is an obvious choice.
I also like, in no particular order...
Utopia Plenetia (A Mars Station)
Starbase One (or some other more clever Number)
Outpost One (0r some other more clever Number)
Terra Prime Station

The vendor ring is designed to be similar to the promenade of Deep Space 9. I did some research and found something interesting . . .
The original Cardassian name for Deep Space 9 was Terok Nor. According to the Cardassian language, the word terok means ninth, and nor means station. So, Terok Nor was literally the ninth station of this design that the Cardassians built. I'm sure that had to be taken into consideration when the station was ultimately renamed Deep Space 9.
The other Cardassian station featured had the original designation of Empok Nor. Empok, in Cardassian, means third, so Empok Nor was the third station of that design.
With that in mind, if we wanted to come up with an Cardassian designation, and their Federation name counterparts, here's a few suggestions:
Tudok Nor - Deep Space 1
Kotok Nor - Deep Space 2
Ravok Nor - Deep Space 4
Wepok Nor - Deep Space 5
Hekok Nor - Deep Space 6
Nevok Nor - Deep Space 7
Tagok Nor - Deep Space 8
Neciz Nor - Infinity Station
Bokter Nor - Victory Station
