In response to this entire thread, I submit this interview that was handed to me by a reliable source, there is a disclaimer about the names in the article. Yes they did change the names to protect those involved except the admiralty as they are obviously the only ones with those ranks and not at threat by themselves...please read this all carefully as I have. And don't throw fire and brimstone upon me a I am not the author, nor will I disclose the author's name, ever, under any circumstances. I feel it has some connection to all of this...

[18:16] Alvin Cruhowitz: that's what we heard every time, from then till now.
[18:16] Alvin Cruhowitz: katrina shoots someone in the plaza? Never mind. it's ok. She won't do it again.
[18:16] Alvin Cruhowitz: Katrina throws verbal abuse at someone? Don't worry, I'll talk to her. it won't happen again.
[18:16] Alvin Cruhowitz: she can do whatever she wants, with no penalty.
[18:17] Alvin Cruhowitz: she keeps abusing the staff.
[18:17] Alvin Cruhowitz: Mr. L, Mr. S, Mr. B, Mr. E, Mr. K, Mrs. G..... all current staff of SLQ, and all know what I'm talking about.

[18:18] Alvin Cruhowitz: I'd made a joke in the security office, that all the security officers and even cobramax had a little chuckle about.
[18:19] Alvin Cruhowitz: When I said to her that all she had to do was ask, as I would have picked them up myself.... she started firing off her mouth again.

[18:20] Alvin Cruhowitz: I went to cobramax and told him what happened. Gave him a choice.
[18:20] Alvin Cruhowitz: If katrina is an officer of galaxy, then I will comply with her wishes to end this 'grief' on the sim and will remove my objects.
[18:21] Alvin Cruhowitz: if she is demoted from admiral, they will stay. as she doesn't have the power to tell me to remove them.

[18:23] Alvin Cruhowitz: he chose.
[18:23] Alvin Cruhowitz: and he knew a week ago that this was going to happen.
[18:23] Alvin Cruhowitz: that is why a new build plan for galaxy has been pushed this past week.
[18:23] Alvin Cruhowitz: and why he didn't panic at general meeting.
[18:23] Alvin Cruhowitz: he knew well in advance.

[18:27] Alvin Cruhowitz: when it became obvious that the verdict had already been decided before the trial, I wanted nothing to do with it.
[18:28] You: So your saying that the trial was simply to show an example?
[18:29] Alvin Cruhowitz: I have no idea what they were trying to do.
[18:29] Alvin Cruhowitz: Mr. F was making a lot of noise and making accusations. I presume they were just trying to set the record straight by making a public trial.

[18:30] You: so you support the idea that the justice system was compromised from that trial? tampered deliberately to have the wanted outcome?
[18:31] Alvin Cruhowitz: Since the very start of SLQ, galaxy has had gaps in the justice system.
[18:31] Alvin Cruhowitz: the Mr. F example is just one example.
[18:31] Alvin Cruhowitz: certainly no system is perfect.
[18:32] You: of course
[18:32] Alvin Cruhowitz: but galaxy does not sway to it's members, nor look out for them.
[18:33] Alvin Cruhowitz: Cobramax is a good man. But as long as katrina remains, it will be rotten at the core.
[18:35] Alvin Cruhowitz: The senior staff about 5 months ago, rallied to have katrina removed. the entire senior staff was banned within 24 hours of their meeting with cobramax,
[18:38] Alvin Cruhowitz: When Mrs. Z was making accusations against cobramax and katrina, I didn't believe it. because they are such nice people.
[18:38] Alvin Cruhowitz: I was wrong.
[18:38] Alvin Cruhowitz: after having witnessed it myself, I know Mrs. Z was right.
[18:39] Alvin Cruhowitz: I wish I had not got involved with SLQ to the level I did. That's time I will never get back.
[18:42] You: What charges or violations do you know of that Katrina has done?
[18:42] Alvin Cruhowitz: orbiting the members, and general abuse of the staff.
[18:43] Alvin Cruhowitz: as Mr. L put it. "I could shoot someone at work in real life, and it wouldn't be as stressful as katrina"
[18:46] You: Hmm...I don't think I have any more questions, thank you Mr. Alvin.

[18:47] You: like I said, your name will not be revealed...

The preceding post of an "interview" shows me a couple of things:
1) Squagmire tried to blackmail/extort me into actions that would not have led to a good result. This group, and I, will never, ever, bend to blackmail, or threats or terrorism of any sort. We will rebuild Galaxy to an even greater place, and will, from now on, never be in a position to be subject to these kind of threats again.

2) As far as the gripes he listed, they have long since been discussed, debated, and resolved, and for him to keep dragging them up, in an effort to destroy the groups unity, is a display of pettiness and childishness that is not worthy of a Starfleet officer.

3) Katrina Bixby has worked tirelessly for the past 2 years to improve and build this group, she spends as much time as I do inworld, and her efforts are and continue to be for the good of the group. I paid the initial cost of the two sims, and continue to pay the land tier, and this is supplemented by the land rentals and commission from vendor sales and contributions by members, and Katrina and I, spend, I would estimate, aprox 6 hrs a day, working for the group. We both are dedicated to continue to build and expand this group and to ensure that it continues to be the best star trek group in all of sl.

4) In conclusion, I would like to express my admiration for the way this group has pulled together in the past few days and this tells me that , while the former hq building may be gone, the spirit of the group is not, its alive and well....this group does not exist because of buildings, the buildings exist because of the members ! The past few days may have left a scar, but has not diminished our resolve. Lay in a course, straight ahead, to the stars, and warp speed, engage!

Sir, if I may speak frankly, some of the matters that were resolved seem to have come up regardless of anyones efforts to keep them under tight and very much debated control. I did look at many of the objects that were still present in Galaxy after the 'attack'. The owner was not you, sir, or anyone else, except Fmr. CMDR Stravinsky. If it was me, and I choose to 'attack' by removing my prims, I would make sure all my prims were gone, and I would not have started with the auditorium.

Those facts seems a bit suspicious to me. I'm sure if you were in my same position you might think the same as I do. But I'm not you, so I can't rightfully testify that as your opinion on the issue, and the fact that you are a much higher rank and not involved in the same cases and happenings that I am, therefore there is almost no way to predict your thoughts on something such as that.

Mr Faulkner, I'm unsure as to your motive with regard to your posts, but I think you ought to be speaking to Admiral Mechanique personally rather than posting them on the forum.

The incident has occurred, and it is probably for the best that we look to the future, and also ensure that we are not placed in this situation again.

Agreed. This topic is one that could go on debate for a long time and needlessly so.

We all know that this has shown the worst side and best side of galaxy and SLQ. But now the nad side has come and gone we can look forward to making Galaxy OUR galaxy.

There ARE countermeasures in place so that this sort of thing can never happen again... unless Cobra himself defects... which I doubt that to the end of the universe. So I am happy that we can all take a hand in making our home together, hand in hand singing songs and skipping along merrily and all that jazz.

Since you are unsure of my motive Miss Aldrich, I will state it.

My motive is to squash a rumor, just like the subject line says, but its apparent that there is an attempt to squash my findings. What I am trying to do is come to a truthful explanation and reasoning behind all of this, and why my findings are seen as blasphemy.

if you ask me this sounds more like a third part that lies behind it... why would either of them act like they did? why would they start with some of galaxy and not just wipe it totaly? becouse there ARE tools out there that makes you able to impersonate just about anyone. i have seen them. but i have not bought them becouse i dont have any use of junk like that. so please could we stop with the runing around blaming both sides and concentrate on rebuilding galaxy?

The best way I see to avoid further complications such as these "rumors" is to put the rumors to rest by honestly discussing them. Hiding the truth only fosters further rumors and unrest, as the majority of the people who will be affected are unaware of the problems before they are suddenly dropped in their laps. Nothing makes a Klingon more nasty than having hot coffee spilled in their laps... or maybe that was microwaved gagh...
Lets avoid this sort of trouble in the future by opening up these problems to the public forum. If it is something that affects us all, then we all have a right to voice our opinions. Thats something that the Romans had right.

I hate to admit, but I doubt that will happen, but I agree that it should happen.
