Should there be a Starfleet fighter squadron? Using the top of HQ would make a ok hanger. Just wishing to get everyones opinion and start disscusion.

I would love to create a pilot program. Perhaps stunt flying for an air show with general and tactical training. I would suggest that the SWARM fighters for sale on the station would be an excellent platform for the program... They can be a little tricky to fly but they are very, very responsive and once mastered are a wonderful craft. I would be happy to give lessons if anyone was interested  |

I've got someone that was building some Valkyrie class fithters - very sleek looking, but not straying too far from the Trek concept. She just needs to finish with the texturing and scripting, or get someone who can do that.
If it can be done, there's a potential of actually doing a fighter squadron RP. The idea of piloting classes in the academy is another thought, as would aeronautical displays/shows and aerial training events. :-)
