Greetings,
Tonight, Feb, 11, 2007, at the General Meeting, it was announced that Lt. Chris Hoodoo is retiring from Starfleet Command, Second Life Quadrant.
It is with a great degree of sadness that I see Lt. Chris Hoodoo leave the Personnel Division. Chris was not only a great leader, by was, and still is, my friend.
Admiral Mechanique, and Fleet Admiral Bixby, reluctantly accepted his retirement announcement, but understood his reasons and wished him well.
I would like to make this very clear that Lt. Hoodoo chose to retire on his own, due to personnel reasons, and was in no way a reflection upon his performance.
Under his leadership, he expanded the division over three-fold during a time of rapid growth in Second Life and ushered in some new approaches to accelerating our cadet processing program.
And while there have been growing pains, we will continue to carry on his legacy of growth and forward thinking.
As your new Lead Officer, I look forward to working with each and every one of you in the future.
We have some great things in store, but please be patient, these things take time to work out properly.
Finally, Lieutenant Chris Hoodoo (ret), I wish you well, my friend!
