This message is directed to the Divison Chiefs and Divison Leads.
Please begin review of your staff and prepare promotion recommendations. The next Senior officer meeting will take place its regular time, so please have the recommendations in note card form to submit to the Admirals at the meeting.
Reminder that the 3 methods of rank promotion in the group are:
1. Field promotion by the Admirals - A member is offered
a post, and accepts. Usually to full fill a need in the group
and they have demonstated expertise, skill and williness
to volunteer services in the group.
2. Annual Ball, reconition of continued membership, volunteerism
and good standing with in the division and group in general.
3. Recommendation by a officer senior to the member, then
approved by 2 other officers (total of 3) of higher rank then
the candidate to be promoted.
Generally speaking the higher the rank the slower the promotions.
