[16:01] Ethan Muldoon: Greetings Admirals, members of the Fleet and guests.
[16:01] Ethan Muldoon: The Academy is moving forward at a constant pace. We are seeing less new students, so obviously class participation size is not where we would like it to be.
[16:01] Ethan Muldoon: All members are encouraged to tell their friends about the group, if they want to join, make sure they know to see personnel.

[16:02] Ethan Muldoon: In an effort to boost class participation, I would ask that divisions/sub divisions schedule activities at times that do not conflict with Academy classes.
[16:02] Ethan Muldoon: The Academy works very hard to not schedule classes at times where an existing regular group event or RP may be scheduled and ask for the same from each of you.

[16:03] Ethan Muldoon: We have been reviewing class lectures to ensure we have the recent version on file in an archive. This will allow classes to potentially continue if an instructor has to go on LOA or unable to teach a class one day. A adjunct instructor ca hopefully step in with ease.
[16:03] Ethan Muldoon: Hopefully in the coming days we will publish a standardized way of submitting classes for possilbe inclusion into the Academy. This will be available via a published link on the forum when done. Watch the Academy board for information.
[16:03] Ethan Muldoon: Remember, our Academy is only as good as the courses we all help create for it. If you have an idea for a class, let us know. If you are willing to research and create it, we can get it going much faster than having to do the leg work ourselves. If you are unable to teach, then we can try and find an instructor
[16:03] Ethan Muldoon: The Academy wants to make sure we are meeting the expectations of our members. With that, a survey process has been put in place. Each student graduation from the Academy will receive a notecard with the link for a form to complete. This form this is uploaded to a database instantly upon submission. Below are the results since its start a few days ago:

[16:05] Ethan Muldoon: We have had 6 surveys completed since this started just a few days ago
[16:06] Ethan Muldoon: Each person is given a chance to write comments as well, and they have been helpful also in our processes.
[16:06] Ethan Muldoon: The process on the Officers Training School is still on target. We still have a few planning meetings to have to finalize things, but our Target implementation date will be May 1st.
[16:06] Ethan Muldoon: Prior to that date, information on how the program will work will be discussed with Senior Academy staff, then with Instructors, and finally presented to the group during GMs. The idea is to present at GMs 2 meetings before the implementation date. That would be the 20 April and 27 April meetings
[16:07] Ethan Muldoon: Now that Lt. Cmdr RoBobby McMillan is back from his LOA and holiday, we can start working on future projects to help the Academy. Some of these could open up new posts for members INCLUDING ENLISTED STAFF, within the Academy

[16:06] Ethan Muldoon: Each person is given a chance to write comments as well, and they have been helpful also in our processes.
[16:06] Ethan Muldoon: The process on the Officers Training School is still on target. We still have a few planning meetings to have to finalize things, but our Target implementation date will be May 1st.
[16:06] Ethan Muldoon: Prior to that date, information on how the program will work will be discussed with Senior Academy staff, then with Instructors, and finally presented to the group during GMs. The idea is to present at GMs 2 meetings before the implementation date. That would be the 20 April and 27 April meetings
[16:07] Ethan Muldoon: Now that Lt. Cmdr RoBobby McMillan is back from his LOA and holiday, we can start working on future projects to help the Academy. Some of these could open up new posts for members INCLUDING ENLISTED STAFF, within the Academy
