[15:09] Hugh Dench: Greetings everybody. Today there is a special "report" of Science's Linguistic Subdivision. I'll give you some interesting and important information for the future, and so a "special".
[15:10] Hugh Dench: 1.) Conversation-Courses
[15:10] Hugh Dench: In the near future we will be able to teach "newbies" in StarFleet, so Cadets, the right conversation used in StarFleet. So a short summary: Every new member can say, that he needs help with the language. "Star Fleet Slang" isn't very easy for the new ones, so conclusion? - Teach them!
[15:10] Aiden Zhichao: the most random place
[15:10] Hugh Dench: This happens in 3 steps, so 3 courses, where they learn frequently used words and shortcuts, and this in a specific way. They learn especially words, for example words used in Science or Medical, but also general words. But the words and shrortcuts aren't the full programm. The students also will learn how to make an official annoucement or how to contact Admirality or division-leads, etc.
[15:10] Hugh Dench: To make it easier for all! For more fun - for more harmony.
[15:11] Hugh Dench: It's planned that the new members get the information about htis with the processing. We will contact the Personnel Subdiv. for this. And nobody has to do this - just if wanted.

[15:11] Hugh Dench: A new project is planned, that every member can get information about the Linguistic Subdivision. It' called "OPEN-DAY" and we will show you what we are doing. I think that's very important.
[15:12] Hugh Dench: I have to say - some people are laughing about us - "what? the linguistics? subdivision? haha..." Then I only can say: You don't know what we are doing =P So and the people which were laughing about us at the beginning and after I showed them our work... I think it was very quite =P
[15:12] Hugh Dench: So but this are just extremes...But to inform you about the work, this events will help. More information you'll get as soon as possible and it will be also announced on the weekly schedule.

Special service Something new in Linguistics: If a member need help with language or an especially problem, and he doen't know how to articulate, he can contact the Linguistics, and a Linguisitc Expert with the same language like the member, and then he will help in some chattings, etc. The message is - the Linguistics is there for everyone with every matter! =)

[15:10] Hugh Dench: In the near future we will be able to teach "newbies" in StarFleet, so Cadets, the right conversation used in StarFleet. So a short summary: Every new member can say, that he needs help with the language. "Star Fleet Slang" isn't very easy for the new ones, so conclusion? - Teach them!

[15:10] Hugh Dench: This happens in 3 steps, so 3 courses, where they learn frequently used words and shortcuts, and this in a specific way. They learn especially words, for example words used in Science or Medical, but also general words. But the words and shrortcuts aren't the full programm. The students also will learn how to make an official annoucement or how to contact Admirality or division-leads, etc.

Then I only can say: You don't know what we are doing =P So and the people which were laughing about us at the beginning and after I showed them our work... I think it was very quite =P
