[15:59] Vanessa Noarlunga: Scientia non habet inimicum nisp ignorantem - Science has no enemies but the ignorants Let me open with a few general words addressing the group as whole: SIM group members who have decided to serve and participate in this Division continuously make great efforts and spend considerable amounts of time and resources to make our Star Trek SIM stand out and be recognized as an Organization where STAR TREK means more than reference to a TV show, but a life style and a vision for the future. A vision where everyone is included and no one is excluded due to race, origin, sex or shape…
[15:59] Vanessa Noarlunga: This vision first dreamed up by GENE RODDENBERRY was brought to live by a host of writers, artists, designers, directors and not least of actors who took us on one hour journeys away from this planet and into a future where mankind is part of a host of civilizations. We as Star Trek Fans and SIM members are united by this dream and we as fans are the true NEXT GENERATION. Kids inspired by Star trek became doctors and scientists to bring true this vision. Transporter technology, Phasers, Wrap drives are all fiction but there are scientists working to make them reality. I was Spock's greatest fan and because of him and against all odds (Being a girl) became a physicist and I know of many who took Start Trek as an inspiration to better their lives , to work on projects that one day may better our lives and thus mankind.
[16:00] Vanessa Noarlunga: We inherited this dream from Gene Roddenberry and we are its stewards. Leading an example to live your second live and perhaps even your first life by these guidelines maybe others will follow and one day this dream becomes reality and we will have star ships roaming the Galaxy at warp speeds to GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE. I took over the lead of SFSLQ Science division with a vision and a clear purpose. LET’S BE TREK!
[16:00] Vanessa Noarlunga: Those who choose to play a part as members in any of the Science departments are expected to pull their weight. No one expects you to put in an 8 hr day, no one expects you to make it to every meeting (a RL comes first) but try to be there, send a note or IM if you can’t. Open your eyes and look into yourself and see what talents you have. Share those talents with us and together with a pool of talents we can live that dream already in Second Life and perhaps one day in RL. Those in my division, who pull their weight who work and donate their time and talents will be recognized and receive promotion recommendations, awards and gifts.

[16:00] Vanessa Noarlunga: Those who decide this is too much don’t be part of it and expect the same recognition as those who do. To this effect I am authorizing my Sub Division leaders with full authority to give promotional recommendations, request rewards and promotional gifts. What gifts you ask? If you are in it for gifts you might be better off somewhere else, but those who work for the benefit of the group will be rewarded and this could include Awards associated with cash prizes, land or equipment. Here is my first SCIENCE DEPARTMENT CHALLENGE AND IT IS OPEN TO ANYONE:
[16:01] Vanessa Noarlunga: THE FIRT SEMI ANNUAL LEONARD MC COY AWARD with a prize money of L$ 20,000 will be given to the best XENO BIOLOGICAL description filed. This can include a Xeno Biological report of your own character, an established Star Trek species or an alien Life form encountered during Role Play in SFSLQ. Deadline for the AWARD is MARCH 1st. and the Award will be handed out along with the Prize money on MARCH 5th. I will pay the prize money and be the judge, my decision will be final.

[16:01] Vanessa Noarlunga: REPORT: I commenced and completed meetings with my Sub Division Leaders and found they handle their departments well and do not need much guidance or interference from me. Counseling I meet with my Counseling Division Leader Ludo Merit and she has everything under control and I gave her complete autonomy to run her Division as see sees fit. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for a tremendous job and openly commend her for her work ethics and dedication.
[16:02] Vanessa Noarlunga: Medical I meet with my Medical Division Leader Xantin Olejniczak and he also has things running smoothly. We had a productive meeting and I am aware of the challenges and projects he deals with. He is working on a Xeno Biological Data bank (among other things) and I encourage everyone in this organization to participate. Mr. Xantin Olejniczak has also put a lot of effort and dedication into his assignment and post and I would like to put on record that I am very proud to have such awesome beings in my Division

After a successful and productive meeting we decided upon researching a REZZALBE Star Ship bridge that can be Rezzed for RP and kept on the shelf other wise to give more flexibility to RP. A special Group was founded by me and the participants of this group are actively researching AUTO REZZER scripting and deployment. The group facilitates research project participant contact and information exchange. The group is lead by the Research Division Leader. Thank you Mr. Quonset for awesome work and dedication

To keep the dream of Star Trek it’s values it represents alive and making this Star Trek Second Life SIM a place of excellence and pride. [15:59] Vanessa Noarlunga: Scientia non habet inimicum nisp ignorantem - Science has no enemies but the ignorants Let me open with a few general words addressing the group as whole: SIM group members who have decided to serve and participate in this Division continuously make great efforts and spend considerable amounts of time and resources to make our Star Trek SIM stand out and be recognized as an Organization where STAR TREK means more than reference to a TV show, but a life style and a vision for the future. A vision where everyone is included and no one is excluded due to race, origin, sex or shape…
[15:59] Vanessa Noarlunga: This vision first dreamed up by GENE RODDENBERRY was brought to live by a host of writers, artists, designers, directors and not least of actors who took us on one hour journeys away from this planet and into a future where mankind is part of a host of civilizations. We as Star Trek Fans and SIM members are united by this dream and we as fans are the true NEXT GENERATION. Kids inspired by Star trek became doctors and scientists to bring true this vision. Transporter technology, Phasers, Wrap drives are all fiction but there are scientists working to make them reality. I was Spock's greatest fan and because of him and against all odds (Being a girl) became a physicist and I know of many who took Start Trek as an inspiration to better their lives , to work on projects that one day may better our lives and thus mankind.
[16:00] Vanessa Noarlunga: We inherited this dream from Gene Roddenberry and we are its stewards. Leading an example to live your second live and perhaps even your first life by these guidelines maybe others will follow and one day this dream becomes reality and we will have star ships roaming the Galaxy at warp speeds to GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE. I took over the lead of SFSLQ Science division with a vision and a clear purpose. LET’S BE TREK!
[16:00] Vanessa Noarlunga: Those who choose to play a part as members in any of the Science departments are expected to pull their weight. No one expects you to put in an 8 hr day, no one expects you to make it to every meeting (a RL comes first) but try to be there, send a note or IM if you can’t. Open your eyes and look into yourself and see what talents you have. Share those talents with us and together with a pool of talents we can live that dream already in Second Life and perhaps one day in RL. Those in my division, who pull their weight who work and donate their time and talents will be recognized and receive promotion recommendations, awards and gifts.

[16:00] Vanessa Noarlunga: Those who decide this is too much don’t be part of it and expect the same recognition as those who do. To this effect I am authorizing my Sub Division leaders with full authority to give promotional recommendations, request rewards and promotional gifts. What gifts you ask? If you are in it for gifts you might be better off somewhere else, but those who work for the benefit of the group will be rewarded and this could include Awards associated with cash prizes, land or equipment. Here is my first SCIENCE DEPARTMENT CHALLENGE AND IT IS OPEN TO ANYONE:
[16:01] Vanessa Noarlunga: THE FIRT SEMI ANNUAL LEONARD MC COY AWARD with a prize money of L$ 20,000 will be given to the best XENO BIOLOGICAL description filed. This can include a Xeno Biological report of your own character, an established Star Trek species or an alien Life form encountered during Role Play in SFSLQ. Deadline for the AWARD is MARCH 1st. and the Award will be handed out along with the Prize money on MARCH 5th. I will pay the prize money and be the judge, my decision will be final.

[16:01] Vanessa Noarlunga: REPORT: I commenced and completed meetings with my Sub Division Leaders and found they handle their departments well and do not need much guidance or interference from me. Counseling I meet with my Counseling Division Leader Ludo Merit and she has everything under control and I gave her complete autonomy to run her Division as see sees fit. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for a tremendous job and openly commend her for her work ethics and dedication.
[16:02] Vanessa Noarlunga: Medical I meet with my Medical Division Leader Xantin Olejniczak and he also has things running smoothly. We had a productive meeting and I am aware of the challenges and projects he deals with. He is working on a Xeno Biological Data bank (among other things) and I encourage everyone in this organization to participate. Mr. Xantin Olejniczak has also put a lot of effort and dedication into his assignment and post and I would like to put on record that I am very proud to have such awesome beings in my Division

After a successful and productive meeting we decided upon researching a REZZALBE Star Ship bridge that can be Rezzed for RP and kept on the shelf other wise to give more flexibility to RP. A special Group was founded by me and the participants of this group are actively researching AUTO REZZER scripting and deployment. The group facilitates research project participant contact and information exchange. The group is lead by the Research Division Leader. Thank you Mr. Quonset for awesome work and dedication
