I was in a chat with some group members the other day, and someone joked about how much latinum an item would cost which gave me an idea. I saw this special area in SL that replaced lindens with gold for special vendors, so why can't Glaaxy have soemthing like that. A little monetary converter that exchanges lindens for gold-pressed latinum. I would go great with the DS9 in construction, and be a nice way to deal with the problem of dealing to group members. Each grouyp member could be paid a certain comission in latinum for services to the group, so they could buy special merchandise without ahvign to pay for it. Visitors would be able to do a oen way exchange of Lindens to GPL, and vendors could sell the GPL back into lindens at a slight loss, generating a larger comission overall to the group.
By the way, any time table on when DS9 will be open for commerical purposes? Garak's of SL is ready and waiting for the move up there.
