Hello. I was accepted into Star Fleet about a week ago, I've already met a lot of you since then.
I got a message saying I had to do something regarding my timezone to graduate. I was told to check the forums to complete the process, but didnt see any obvious areas to do it in. I'm in GMT -05:00 (Eastern Standard). My question is what is the next step for me?
Thanks.

Mazz, welcome aboard! I'm sure I've seen you in Aeon, but we've not had the opportunity to talk as yet. Hmmm, I'm puzzled as to the reference to your timezone, I can't think what the person was referring to. Next step? Sounds as though you're doing well in getting to know people. With a large part of Galaxy undergoing building work, and Constellation still being terraformed there is only really Aeon to explore at the moment. Keep an eye on the various activities that are planned, either from the notecard from the Fleet Admiral, or by checking the events board in the Personnel Office, and if it is possible for you to attend any of the events, I'd recommend doing so as it is a great way to meet even more of the members and also see the sort of thing that is available to you. The request that you register on the forum is one that is usually given during your initial induction with a Personnel Officer, obviously you've complied with that . Always good to log in regularly as you get a good insight into things that are occurring. Once you've been a member for 2 weeks you can then look to attending a 'Cadet to Ensign' class which are held on a Wednesday and a Saturday. The class is followed by a test, and a pass grade results in promotion to Ensign. Make sure that you have a copy of your original application form that you prepared when joining, as you will be asked for a copy of it to verify your joining date prior to taking the test. You might also want to consider which Division you'd like to join after graduation. If you're unsure what each sub-division actually does, see if you can find any members of the sub-divisions in which you have an interest and have a chat with them. They can also point you in the direction of a senior officer in that department who can then give you more information. Some of the sub-divisions allow interested Cadets to observe their meetings too, which will give you a good insight into their workings. Hope all this helps
