Welcoming Party for New Members

The Personnel Division will host its first "Welcoming Party" for new members and prospective members on April 16th. The fun will begin following the general meeting on the Rodenberry Plaza area in front of HQ. We want this to be a ONE-STOP SHOP occasion that will allow prospective members to

• purchase a new member kit
  
• complete an application
  
• have their ID photos taken
  
• invited and introduced to the group
  

If you are already in the group but have not taken your ID photos or turned in an application now is the time to get processed. The event will continue until 8pm allowing time for all interested to come and get processed. The event will also be listed in SL events and can be found by searching for Starfleet.

We expect to have a great turnout with lots of fun. We will have bar-b-que, punch and desert set out for all to enjoy. We will be referring all to take the shuttle tour and if division leads can hang out for a little while that will be even better as new members have questions about the divisions they would like to join.

Please tell anyone interested in joining to come out to the event. Anyone interested in helping out will be greatly appreciated.

The Welcoming Party turned out to be lots of fun and we were able to process a couple of new members at the same time. If you've missed the event, you dont have to wait until another event to join! Personnel division regularly processes new members as they inquire about joining. If you would like to join, please IM myself, Fadm Katrina Bixby or Adm Cobramax Mechanique and if I am not online or not available, they can also get in contact with another personnel officer.

Also I have left offline IMs and even online IMs and no response, if you want to join please Im me to set up a time to meet for ID pictures and your application. You can find an application inside your new members kit its called SFSLQ personnel card. If you can, please fill it out so that you can turn it in when you come to take your ID pics.

I do, however, plan to schedule another event, in the near future and will make a new post once everything is coordinated. In the meantime, please IM me about joining.
